our wines

We love cool climate wines! And we're lucky to have some of the best growing conditions on our doorstep in Orange, NSW. We love the acid, the fruit and we love the complexity. We also know to create true vineyard-first wines, we need to source the best fruit and then treat it as gently as possible through the entire process.

Grapes for our 2022 vintage have been sourced from two Orange vineyards. Our Sauvignon Blanc is picked from a block 1000 metres above sea level with north facing slopes, with good drainage and year round protection. The vineyard sits on loam topsoil, red clay and basalt. Our Pinot Noir and Riesling are both picked from blocks approximately 880 metres above sea level and southeast facing. Slightly warmer but equally protected, the blocks sit on red-brown loam with basalt underlying rock.

The vineyards are looked after to by a small team, working mostly by hand, and managed to limit crop size and keep fruit quality high year-on-year. It's because of this approach and hand-picking we're able to incorporate carbonic maceration into both our Pinot Noir and 'Orange'.
